ID# 1202 Jean Patou Caline 1 oz Parfum with box This is a lovely and rare bottle of Jean Patou Caline in the pure perfume concentration. This bottle is unused and in perfect condition. The inside of the box is clean. The outside of the box is beautiful. Small amount of evaporation. Jean Patou Caline appeared on the market in 1964, advertised as a fragrance for young women. Caline is an intense floral aldehyde, chypre fragrance with notes of green citrus, aldehydes, spices, May rose, jasmine, orris root, cyclamen, ylang-ylang, carnation, sandalwood, cedar, labdanum, moss and musk. The nose behind this fragrance was Henri Giboulet. Caline is very much along the lines of those classic aldehydic chypres of the 50s.
